I was trying to make a sign that was like Home Sweet Home. But it's not a home yet it's a studio. I have already had a lot of adventures while living here and it has only been 3 weeks. I'll post the others later.
Teaser for upcoming post: Cookie Sheet, Oven & Chicken Nuggets.
I'm sorry it has been FOREVER since I last posted, almost a year but not quite. So much has happened since Seattle.
** I moved out of my parents' house and in with my best friend, Sammi. Then she got married, I was the maid of honor, March 3, 2011.
** My brother got married a week later, March 12, 2011.
Here we are blow drying the strawberries so the chocolate will stick to them, for the reception.
** I became full-time at work! I'm the receptionist for JBR Environmental Consultants. I got the in from my dad which works in the office too.
** I moved out of my friends' place & got a studio apartment of my own, in Tempe! It's small but SO ME! The pictures are a little messy only because I was still moving in then. I'll take more pictures soon.
My living room / dinning room / kitchen!
My bedroom / FREE couch!
** Oh and for Memorial Day weekend it was the Carpenter Family Reunion. We went camping on Mt. Graham and on the way back down we showed Jaimee, my new sister-in-law our old cabin. Of course I took a picture!
I miss that place A LOT!
** I know there is a lot more in there... oh wait... the week after Seattle I ended up going to Washington D.C. with my best friend, Sammi & her mom Bonnie. So 2 Washingtons in 2 weeks! Here is a couple pictures from our adventure.
It rained / misted a lot while we were there. Sammi & I wore lots of scarfs it was fun!
Fog at the Washington Monument
We got to go to Ford's Theatre... it was amazing!
We actually got to go inside Washington's monument... Last time I was there it was being scaffolded.
View standing in line to go in.
Sam got mad because I took a better picture of the car than she did. She told me I wasn't allowed to take her camera anymore.
"Look a giraffe!"
Running away from the BEAR!
Bonnie really really wanted us to take a picture by this tree.
Sammi & her mom Bonnie.
SQUIRREL!! They were everywhere!
Sam's aunt's dog! There is another one just like it. And in the morning they would jump OVER Sammi and land on me to wake us up in the morning.
At the Lincoln Memorial... these group of business men were cute from the front & behind.
It was a lot of fun to spend some time with just me & Sam!
** Okay that was a lot of pictures. Believe me that was nothing!! And it was hard to pick just a couple. I'll try to be better and write more later.
