My sister, Jenny will make a great mother someday!!
Here she is showing the nephews how to wash dishes, even though they are play dishes. But she is teaching them with patience and love. I can't wait for the day I get married and have kids. And while Jenny is with them I know they will be in good hands. Thank you Jenny for being a great example to me!
My friend, Ross, graduated from Universal Technical Institute yesterday in Avondale and he asked me to go with him.Yes he is laughing a lot in the picture so his smile is a little crazy. But it was lots of fun I got to meet his parents and grandparents, his brother & 2 sisters and a couple cousins. When Ross introduced me to his mother she said she my name like "oh so you are the one that my boy must be dating and hasn't told me about." She & the grandma ended up asking me all these questions about how we met and how much we hang out and basically asking if I was dating Ross. It was pretty great because we are just really good friends.
After the graduation and all the amazing picture taking, Ross, me & his cousin Rebelle (yes that's her name and pronounced Rebel) went to eat. I took them to Islands, a very good burger place! On the way home Ross was driving and we had all the windows down with the sunroof open because it was such a nice day. As we are driving on the freeway a rock came up from the road into the top of the car. And then dropped down between my head and my sunglasses to hit me in the eye!! Yes that is exactly how it happened I'm not joking! Seriously I must be super special to get hit in the eye was a rock while wearing sunglasses!! And that was a tight space to go through to hit me in the eye! We got home safely and my eye is just fine NOW.
I looked down at my arm and saw a dark spot thinking 'that looks like a bruise'. So poked it... OUCH! Yep, it's a bruise! I don't even know how I got it. It must have been one of those walls or corners that keeps running into ME!
Today was a very eventful day! I woke up to my dad making eggs in a basket with yummy hash browns & bacon. So I was trying to find a picture of these awesome eggs in a basket but all the ones I found isn't like how my daddy makes them. But they were delicious!! We had the second day of General Conference which was amazing... I learned a lot. My brother-in-laws' sister came to visit for the weekend as well. It's great to have her here. In between sessions I took some adorable pictures of my new nephew.
You can see other pictures on my portrait blog Sarah Joye Photography. After conference we ate dinner! My brother & brother-in-law had been trying to this slogan for Easter... Lamb not Ham. My parents gave in and we had lamb AND ham!! Very exciting I know. After dinner we decided that we would take some pictures to send Zach... oh I mean Elder Carpenter. He's in Brazil. We decided to get some robin eggs and put them on our lips and took some lovely pictures.
Ben was still asleep when we started taking pictures. Then the 2 little ones had an Easter egg hunt in the family room. I got fired from hiding eggs. Apparently Andrew only goes for the easy ones with money in them.
Seth was in a very "okay you can take my picture" mood. So here is him & Jaimee supposed to be "Vanna Whiting" it to show off the clocks in our kitchen. The top on is Brazil time- where Zach is. The middle one is Ohio time- where my brother & his family is. And the bottom one is Arizona time.
Seth and Jaimee were doing a Zach face. Here is the clocks without the amazing models.
This last one is Seth & Jaimee leaving to go have some fun! :)
